I have an amazing friend who has amazing talents. Ruben Russouw is currently studying at Design Time School of Interior Design and for one of his projects he worked with well-known designer Alessi on this fun child’s project to create an amazing interchangeable carpet, herewith some words from Ruben regarding his creation:
“My inspiration comes from the designer Alessi with his humorous characters. The modular component can be adapted to suit the client by the use of the design using different configurations or by adding different felt designs with a range of colours. This rug brings a fun element into any space and can be adapted on a daily basis to suit the clients’ mood. The rug is made from an under felt that is 100% eco friendly. All the felt designs are hand-made.”
I truly believe that Ruben is an upcoming talent to watch!
