MB Fashion Week - L.A.M.B

L.A.M.B really surprised me.  The pop star turned fashion designer gives us the punk edge with big reading glasses, bright yellow, a good mixture of patterns and stockings over stockings.  I also really liked what they pulled the entire look together with the make-up, hair and nails.

MB Fashion Week - Jill Stewart

Jill Stewart showed us beautiful laced dresses, flower prints and all round softness.

MB Fashion Week - J. Mendel

I loved just about every outfit from J. Mendel.  Soft, sleek and perfect!

MB Fashion Week - Donna Karan

Donna Karan gave us masculine outfits with cuff’s and little top hats on evening gowns and manly jackets and undercoats with leather pants and army boots.

MB Fashion Week - DKNY

Another disappointment was DKNY.  Most of the dresses reminded me of tennis outfits and the prints were boring.  The greatest thing about this show was the taxi cab back drop.

MB Fashion Week - Diesel Black Gold

After all the hype this label has sadly disappointed.  Diesel Black Gold experimented with pants over pants (a look which reminds me of the ‘90s boxer’s showing above a man’s baggy jeans), paddle pushers and shirts that were unbuttoned to show your belly button.

MB Fashion Week - Diane von Furstenberg

In love with Diane Von Furstenberg’s collection, the turquoise, the pink, the yellow.  The dresses were sexy and elegant and it had that extra touch to it, the touch of amaze.

MB Fashion Week - Derek Lam

Derek Lam’s looks made me think of when I was a very little girl dressing up in my mom’s clothes – tops to big, shorts wide and looking like they are pants that are too short.  Definitely not what I expected.  At least there were some good looks with the bad.
